We crashed the party!

The location for the Great Lakes Rally was just over our planned route to see our grandson in Kentucky, so we took a little detour and pulled into Tomorrow's Stars Resort about 4:30 this afternoon. Soon the "Welcoming Committee" showed up....Richfaa, Emmel, and Jim of Jim and Julie. We were also delighted to see MIMF and Mrs. MIMF (Dale). And Sharon, Dennis, and Jennifer from our Georgia mini-rally were also surprised to see us. We enjoyed a nice meal and good company at Golden Corral before everyone gathered around the campfire. Glen and I didn't stay very long as we had driven almost 300 miles today and we were ready for some shut eye. But it was great to see old friends and meet new ones.

Thanks for the hospitality, everybody, and have fun at the rest of your rally.

It was our pleasure, Glen and Judy. It was indeed a very pleasant surprise for you three to show up!! I remember looking down at that corner and suddenly there was a Montana setting there. I saw a man walking around the coach and I'm thinking,"he looks familiar". When I discovered that the white Dodge was setting there, too, I immediately recognized who it was. By then one or two other people from our group was there and I HAD to come down there. BARE FEET AND ALL!

We appreciate the fact that you sacrified yourself in your bare feet to come greet us. It was wonderful to meet more MOCers, especially since we'll see them again soon at the rally. And it was really nice to meet Mrs. MIMF and Baxter.
