Reminder to sign up for 2006 Northeast rally
Just a reminder that it is now April 8 2006 and I called the Twin Tamarack campground today and there is only 3 rigs signed up.
It would be nice if everyone started to think about this rally as time is just flying by. Before we know it it will be here.
The rally is June 1,2, 3 and 4, 2006
This is the weekend after Memorial Day and before Motorcycle Week.

Diane found out this week that she can get the time off so we'll sign up tomorrow. When are you arriving?

I made a mistake on the dates for the Northeast rally. The dates are June 1,2,3, & 4.
Sorry for the error.
I am sure Sven Carlson will be along to verify the dates also.

Will be calling Twin Tamarack tomorrow morning, to make my reservation. I called a couple of weeks ago and they only had 3 reservations. Was hoping to meet more MOC'ers. Will be coming Friday afternoon, leaving Monday morning.

Just made our reservation.  The gentleman I spoke to is from here in central NY. Still has family here. Small world.
So far we make number 5 to sign up. Not a huge amount so far.

We would love to be there but it is High School graduation weekend here so we can't get away.  We are dissapointed that we won't get to meet all of you this time around. I'm sure you will have a great time.

We have just made arrangements for Mark, so it looks like Bill and Ann will be attending. We will call the campground this week. Glenn and Lorraine: Looks like we may get together again before the Fall National.

Sure wish we could but we have to watch our number of days in the states since we are limited if we want to go south this winter and we are leaving here, BC, for Ontario May 18through the states also.

What is the schedule of events for this rally? Or are we playing it by ear?
We didn't get a chance to go to last years NE rally. In fact, this will be our first camping trip of the season.

The following is what we are planning on doing for the rally
June 1, Thursday,early arrival, check out the area...
June 2, Friday, arrivals, with get-together, meet one another, happy hour and campfire, info packages on area events.
June 3, Saturday, Freedom to tour the beautiful Lakes Region area, http://www.lakesregion.org and shop in tax free NH during the day.
Saturday evening supper will be Fried Turkey, stuffing balls, mashed potatoes, and a vegie and apple pie.
Saturday evening campfire, games and prizes and entertainment, local comedian.
June 4, Sunday, Famous Potvin / Carlson "Omelet in a bag" breakfast with fixings.
We need people to call the campground and make your reservations

We will probably be arriving Thursday evening if all goes well.
What do you need help with. Anything extra I need to bring?
Last year we made a big salad. I borrowed a large bowl from work.
And we brought bagels for the breakfast. Do you still want that?

This rally sounds like a good idea. When I first saw it I thought that we might be able to at least drive up and see the group, but that isn't going to work either. We will be in Uxbridge, Ma. on June 1st. We will be working at the "West Hill Dam", a US Corp of Engineers Park. It is a Day Park only for picnicing, swiming, fishing and hiking. We will be there June and July. If any of you get down that way, STOP IN and say hello. Glenn & Lorraine, I thought you guys would give us a call before you left town to go for breakfast. This is a new experience for us and we are excited about getting on the road. Hope to see some of you up that way this summer. We plan on traveling on our days off.
