Alko-Kobler Axles

I think Keystone and alko should be required to do a re-call on all units with these axles,at least have them checked. We have a 2004 Montana and must of our camping is fairly local so there is very few miles on the unit. But in about 5-6 years our mileage will add up and then we will notice the problems, com e on keystone come to bat for your customers.

There may be some problems with certain axles but I don't know anyone who has had an axle problem. A few folks have had to have them aligned but that is a normal process. If your rig has axles on them that are not rated for the load of the rig then they should be fixed. However if you have properly rated axles then you're pretty much on your own. Some maintenance is required from time to time and that is the trailer owners responsibility.

Now if there were a batch of components put into a rig that are known to be defective then I would think the manufacturer would want to make "good" on that issue. I think that in most cases that is exactly what has happened.
