New owners and members
Hi, We just got a new 3670 in Oct. Have had it out 1 time. I retire in Dec., my husband is already retired. We live in the panhandle of Texas and are hoping to leave in Jan to Arizona for a 1 or 2 month stay. We would appreciate any help on RV parks or where any other members are during this time. Must have Golf courses nearby! Thanks

Congratulations on the new Montana and welcome to the forum. I'm sure some of the members experienced in snowbirding will be along to answer your questions.

RECENTLY RETIRED HOMEBUILDER. READY TO ORDER THE 06-3400RL. MY DECISION WAS FIRM UNTIL I VISITED VARIOUS MOC FORUMS. MY CONCERN NOW IS FACTORY QUALITY CONTROL AND POTENTIAL WATER LEAKS (IT RAINS A LITTLE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST -PORTLAND, OREGON). THE UNIT WILL BE DELIVERED BY AN OUT OF STATE DEALER. HAS ANYONE HAD A PROBLEM WITH WARRANTY WORK BY A LOCAL DEALER OR WHILE TRAVELING.

Jim
We have a 2005 3400 and have NO problems with ours. Period. On this forum, which is to exchange ideas and help, you hear more about the problems becuse people are looking for solutions. There are hundreds with no problems and so you don't hear from them as much. Would highly recommend Montana.
Happy trails............................

Jim,
It's really no different than a stick house, some have problems some don't, I'm sure as a former homebuilder you've seen both. So far nothing major with our Montana.

Jim Hart - we live in Oregon and have had no problem with leaking or actually no problem with our rig whatsoever, which we purchased in Eugene. There is no Montana dealer in Medford unfortunately, but we can get our service work done here. I would warn you to stay away from Ingram RV in Eugene but that is the only Montana dealer in Oregon we have had dealings with.
In any forum like this people will voice their concerns, but if you read all the followup you will find that most are happy with how Keystone deals with their problems.
We camp year round here, which means during the rainy season, and we have not had one leak.

Quality in the Rv industry is not anywhere near homebuilders standards but keystone Montana is among the best AND are the BEST in standing behind the product. Folks on this forum feel comfortable in relating problems with their units because they know they will get help from others. I am one of the HUGEST critics of Montana Quality control and will continue to be one till Montana builds the quality of camper I feel we (at least I) deserve.Having said that, after spending a lot of time looking at other RV's we WILL be buying a Montana. However...Find yourself a GOOD reliable, trustworthy dealer..
