King size bed
Hi
I just bought a 3295 Montana and it was supposed to have a King size bed in the trailer and the bed was 58" wide and a space for 64" in the bed area. And I was told that the largest bed is 50" wide and that is a king size bed and keystone does not have anything larger. My salesman says that he will take care of it. What is the dimensions of the largest bed that can be put in my trailer. I just cannot believe that you advertise the King size bed as an option and it is only 50" wide. Please advise and any contact info if that is necessary. Thank you

Ummmmmmmmmmmm ... something doesn't sound right. Our petite queen (same width but shorter than standard queen) is 60" wide and the smallest bed put in Montanas. If your dealer is the one who told you that the widest bed is 50" wide, I think you might want to have another talk with them. If that doesn't work, I'd call Keystone Customer Service and ask in the most incredulous of voices "can this possibly be right?" Good luck.

It sounds like you have a double bed I didn't know that Montana used anything smaller than a Queen.

Tne infor provided by bsbear22 helpd us as we will put that Queen size bed in our new Montana..Am going to try to get Montana to leave the mattress out.

Call the people at Keystone, were told in factory tour that the queen size is 60 inches, did not hear or do not remember width of king size. Charlie's measurements in his post sound right!

We saw a king at the Montana dealer in Elkhart, IN, and it's a whole lot bigger than our Queen. Our Queen is 58" wide.

I guess Steve thinks our bed is only 58" since he claims I hog 2/3 of it. It's actually 60" ... I measured it!

Gosh, you would think Steve would want that extra 2" since you hog 2/3 of the bed!

You have to remember I'd get only 1/3 of that extra 2 inches! Trying to cover that extra 2/3 of an inch of mattress with the same small corner of blanket and sheet I get to hang onto...

Poor Steve! Glen and I only get 1/4 of the bed (mini-queen) 'cause Greta sleeps sideways and takes up half of it. Sure felt good to have her there when our furnace didn't work in the 30' weather.

We asked for and got the full queen after seeing the king size on display. I wanted to have an easier time making the bed and Bill made me a bookcase to use up the extra space. Narrow but does the job nicely.

In reality, Judy, most of the blankets and sheets end up on my side of the bed. I keep telling Vicki she has got to stop pushing them over to my side but...

Went to the fall RV show here in Northern Ohio yesterday. On the subject of Mattresses. We have a store bought queen Sealy in our TT.If I put on hand on top of the mattress and the other on the bottom and squeeze as hard as I can the sealy will compress maybe a couple of inches. When I did that on the so called mattress in the 3670 it compressed several inches. We are not sure what is inside of it but straw is a possibility. We will keep the mattress in The TT for the new camper and donate the OEM mattress to the salvation Army..under a assumed name.. Oh..I am am @165 lbs and Helen is @ 120 lbs so we are not heavy weights.. We still have the mattress that came with our TT in the spare bedroom..It insures that whoever is staying with us will not stay long..
