Hello all ! New Monty owners 2004 2955. - long time RVers. First trip out in the 2955 to Lake Tahoe the first week of June it snowed!!
Oh well ! We are off Monday 7/11 to Deary Idaho. We volunteer with a group called "Hard Hats For Christ". We do construction, maintenance, etc at churches, conference centers and camps around the US and around the world. We live in Pioneer Ca out in the forest of the Sierra Nevada Mts. and we have a couple of RV sites on the property. Stop, visit and share camping, travel stories when your in the neighborhood.

Welcome to this great forum--more like an extended family. We have the 2955 as you do. As we have often said on this forum, for us it is the "pick of the litter". We just made 3 long trips in June: to Colorado, then to Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, and finally through Kentucky and Ohio to Michigan then back trough Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri. Point is: we use our Montana and enjoy it to the full. We are ready now for our second trip to Colorado this Summer.

Hope you continue to enjoy your Montana and find this forum as helpful as we have.

Welcome aboard!!! Glad to hear you aren't rusting while you're resting. No doubt great relationships are formed on your adventures. My belief says that retirement needs to have meaning.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on choosing a Montana. We also do volunteer work, with the Passport in Time program through the Forest Service. There are projects throughout the U.S. - discovering, exploring, preserving prehistoric and historic sites; renovation/restoration of historic buildings; and helping with the clerical work associated with documenting discoveries. Enjoy your adventures. Safe travels.

Welcome to the Montana family.

Sorry about the snow in June at the Lake, but this year we didn't even warm up until nearly the end of June. It was a long long spring, which was beautiful this year.

We have friends who moved to Pioneer probably 10 years ago. Name of Jacque and Gary Barnett. She is a RN, and he is a service manager at one of the car dealerships. Wonder if they are still around?

Be sure to read about the National Montana Rally in October, It's being held close to home (Minden, NV) and would love to meet you there.

Welcome. You live in a beautiful part of this big state. Besides the National Rally check out the Western Rally to be held next Memorial Day. We had such a good time on the last one, we decided to do it again. It will be in the Mt. Shasta area which is also beautiful.
Happy trails.................
