Hot Water Problem
Here's a new one on me.
We've been at this campground for 3 weeks now. Took a nice hot shower this morning. Now I don't get any water at all from the hot side. Not even a drip. Cold water is OK. I've tried letting some water out of the hot water heater directly - no change.
Any ideas at all? I don't have a clue. I'm fairly certain nothing is crimped; haven't done any moving or sliding at all.
Frustration is again setting in (still haven't figured out the lights in the bedroom yet).

Hi Bob,
In the back of your HW tank there is a one way check valve, it is in the outlet line feeding the trailer with hot water.
It is there, so when you put antifreeze in all the water lines, it doesn't fill the HW tank.
Undo the water line coming out of the HW tank and replace this check valve.
At least I would guess this is your problem.

Drained water in HW tank 3 times. Took apart water connection on back of tank. Actually did nothing in the way of repairs. System has worked for about a week now. No clue as to why. Oh well!! LOL

Bob, you may have had some sediment blocking that checkvalve JH mentioned. We had that checkvalve fail on our 2003 3295RK and had the same no hot water problem. The replacement valve is available at just about any rv dealer, not just the montana dealer. Two years ago it was five bucks. It threads into the tank itself and the water line threads into the checkvalve.

I believe I know the valve you are referring to. However, when I called both Suburban and Keystone, they both swore vehemently that they don't install one. Yeah, OK.

Bob, I had the same problem on my 3650rk. I could not get the valve out but was able to plunge the check valve several times by hand. Haven't had anymore trouble with it. This was a year ago.
