The Tables have turned

Finally got rid of the barely usable dining table and replaced it with a computer desk style table, 29” x 64”. Allows us to sit side-by-side when dining and look out the window. Also provides more space under for hauling stuff.

Was your original table the newer style that seemingly juts out from the wall or the one like we have that is a pedestal mount? Never had issue with our pedestal mount. We sit across from one another and casually look out the window.

It was the pedestal type with a slideout leaf. The table was wobbly,!and it was uncomfortable to sit next to the slide wall because the curtain boxes hit you in the back. I was thinking about moving the pedestal table about 6 inches closer to the recliner chair, but this is better for us.
