3791RD Sofa beds.
Ok, we had our first trip with our new Montana, everything went well, didn't have any problems, except for the sofa beds. They folded out like they should, but both of them seem to be higher at the bottom than at the top. Hope this makes sense, the people who used them said the hump is bothersome. If your looking at them when they are unfolded you can definitely tell the half that is in the middle of the room is slightly higher then the part up,against the wall. Didn't know,if I was doing something wrong, or if that's just the way they are. Thanks for any help.

While that doesn't sound rignt, and even with our one sofa bed it is as flat and level as the master bed, the bar is still a bother. I read someplace that some long planks under the mattress might help with the bar but you still need a pretty flat bed, and we haven't tried it. Am I understanding your floorplan has TWO sofabeds. I would make sure whomever slept in it put their heads on the high side. I don't remember the particulars, but many years ago, I slept with my feet higher than my head on a backpack trip because I thought it wouldn't matterand woke up with a horrible headache that lasted hours, so I'd never recommend ANYONE sleep with their feet higher than their head. It's not worth the anguish.
Our floorplan allows us to remove the sofabed mattress and just put it on the floor right in front the sofa bed. Fortunately it's rare when we have guests who would use this. Some who stay with us also just set up a tent nearby and use foam or air mattresses and sleeping bags or blankets and the weather has been cooperating. Of course in all cases, if not level, make sure your head is higher than your feet.

Our beds do the same. We put at 2" topper on them and it seems to make it work. Our daughter (33) joins us often and it works.

The sofa bed and the recliners were one of the first things we replaced.

Our beds do the same, so we keep a couple of air mattresses in the unit that we blow up for the kids. We use a Coleman air pump and it takes about 5 minutes to inflate both full sized mattresses. Got them at Walmart for around $17 each. The 16 year olds love them

Our new/used Monty didn't have an air mattress when we bought it. Must have broke with the previous owners and they never replaced it. I've only tried figuring out how to open the thing up once and was not successful. Figure if we ever need an extra bed, and air mattress on the floor will do just fine.

Although having company is a lot like fish....after three days it starts to stink I could not bear to put anyone on those horrible hidebeds. We bought a queen inflatable mattress and thats what any company we have sleeps on,

I have an older Montana 2005 with the queen sleeper sofa. It has a foam mattress suspended by heavy "wires" connected by springs. I have only slept on it once and I can honestly say it was more comfortable than the junk mattress that was in the bedroom. To sit on the sofa on the other hand wasn't a very nice experience. We put a memory foam topper on the bedroom mattress and suffered with that for years then finally purchased a good mattress in 2013. The sofa and recliner went this year no more sleeper, we replaced it with a reclining love seat and a real residential recliner.
