2nd Cable/Sat Signal Splitter?

There is a splitter on the cable coming out of the cable/sat connection behind the TV in our entertainment center. Is there another splitter somewhere? I have not found one in open sight. Have you? I'm afraid it's behind the walls . . .

Here's why I ask. We are on cable Internet (SuddenLink) at this RV park where we are stationary for a while. It is an unsecured network. At park owner's suggestion, I got a modem from SuddenLink and bought a wireless router, so we have our own secure wireless network in the rig. I need this for work.

Connection was reliable and fast for a couple of months, but lately the router, and sometimes the modem, have been dropping offline. Had SuddenLink tech out last week. He tested signals at the pole outside and on visible splitters inside (have those to get the cable to the cable TV box and to the modem).

From those results, the tech thinks there's probably another splitter somewhere that is not working properly.

So! Where's my hidden splitter?

Thanks!

I really can't help. But here are some wiring diagrams previously posted for different year models. May help you trace it out. Diagram of 2009/2010 models only shows one splitter. But later models show two. Possible you have the later wiring.

Thanks for posting that link, Bill. It was helpful and I'm saving it for our Montana file. Took a look at the different layouts. If I'm reading the diagrams correctly, the splitters appear to be internal as exposed in visible sight. Funny thing, though, like I said, one is actually external behind the TV. Go figure.

Who knows if there are 2 splitters or 3 or 20. Haha! Every rig is assembled differently. Heck, we recently learned (when having a gray tank replaced) that there were 2 or possibly 3 different brands of tanks installed on the line in ours.
