Sink won't drain

Recently my sink won't drain like normal. I may take hours to fully drain and there is a leak underneith the RV. The drain is clear to where it goes into the floor. The grey water and black water tank is empty and it still won't drain. Please help me as I like to save money and do it myself.

Have you drained your galley tank? The lever should be between your wheels on the drivers side.

Thank all of you for the information. The dealer or anyone never touched on the pull valve for the tank that the sink fills into. I make a special trip and saved hundreds of dollars and all it took was a pull of the valve handle. Does the rv repair people not know about the valve are or they just wanting to seperate me from my money? I ask several and all they said was either bring it to them or we will do a costly service call. None suggested a simple pull the tank valve.
Thank all and this forum

They should know bout the 3rd tank. Lots of 5er's have 3 tanks. Hard to believe that you asked several people and they did not know to mention the galley tank. But it is hard to get good help these days as they say.... Glad you were able to solve it so easily.

We all had to learn. This has been a subject covered numerous times on this forum. Might be a good idea to look at some of the archived posts and use the search tool to find many answers to problems.

I had the same trouble. I did not know that I had a galley tank! the dump vale is in the left wheel well I found mine up high behind the left rear wheel. I bet that will solve the problem. Don't feel bad Several others including myself did not know about the galley tank.

Nothing like someone trying to make money when they could have just been helpful over the phone! Not all in the service industry are like Ozz.

This problem got me thinking about what Michael and Kat posted a week or so ago and what they upgraded to. I'm going to purchase one right now. That cable location for the galley tank has got to go!

Meh. Nice gadget, but for $150, I can remember I have two grey water valves.

Actually it's 3 if we include the black but I'm only going with the kitchen tank. The cable has been acting up lately and since it needs attention I'm going to move up to something a little more convenient. BTW, I found it for 120.00 shipped.

Noticed they have 2 models, Valterra/Bristol and Thetford. Suspect one should know what is installed before ordering off the cuff.

Still too high for my tastes. I'd rather spend the money on something useful like guns or camera equipment.

Check the link below for online source and price. Never did any business with them.
I haven't ordered yet since Mike (pine ranch) pointed out they offer different models for several brand valves and I'm not sure what Keystone installs. I'm looking into that now.
Btw, thank you Mike.
