pin box troubles

I have a 2006 Montana 2955RL 5th wheel. Recently, I found the divider panel between the main bedroom closet ( in very front of the unit ) and the smaller closet ( prepped for the washer ), was buckled and broken. I suspect that the floor in this area had flexed upward an inch or so. I'm concerned that there is some structural damage to my unit which is only going to get worse.Since this is in the area of the pin box, I'm more than a little worried about this. Any thoughts or ideas?

From what you have described I would agree that it needs to be checked by a certified person. I would not move it any farther than necessary and no trips. Just my opinion.

I have a 2005 2955RL. We had pinbox failure a few years ago. Take a flashlight and inspect your pinbox welds up inside as best you can. Agree w/John that you probably should seek professional assistance. May need to pull down the belly pan to expose the pinbox for inspection. Be very careful if you have to move the rig!!! Good luck, and let us know what you find.

Another test that you could do would be to measure from the hitch plate to the overhang/belly unhooked. Then see if this changes when on the TV hitch and landing gear retracted. Not easy to measure, but might be able to see if it flexes up. Just a couple of ideas for you.
