Water Leak SOMEWHERE

All of you 3400RL owners out there...and anyone else of course.
We have a rain water leak on the livingroom/dining slide. It is slow, but making carpet damp...maybe I should just head BACK to the desert
Facing the slide, from the inside, it is located in the bottom corner next to the little oblong carpet box in the corner next to the wall. Assesing the wall there is no apparent damage, but I dry out as best possible, since it is raining of course, and it does re-appear. Looking outside Dave can find no apparent seal compromised around slide, roof etc. Has anyone had a similar problem, found a solution or have a suggestion. I guess this is what happens when you leave drydesert and spend summer in Humboldt County.
Thanks in advance for all your help. Teresa

We had that exact problem. Through searches, we saw we should check the screws on the slide to see if they were caulked. Dick checked and several on that slide were not caulked. He caulked them and the problem cleared up. In the process he checked the tape on the roofs of the slides and discovered they were ruffled and loose. We had that repaired under warranty. No problems since and we have had continual rain. Hope this helps.

We had a major leak problem with that slide all along the outside edge. It was the tape on the outside edge. Re taped, no more leak.

Check your gaskets all the way around the slide! Make sure they are all folding out when you put your slides out. They should also be lubed with some silicone or the like to make sure they remain pliable so they fold out when extending the slides and fold in when retracting the slides. Also check to see if the gaskets are torn or cracked. That would be a reason for leaking also. The water will run down the sides and enter the slide to wet the carpet and etc.
