On our way to 7 Feathers

I couldn't get my Sat dish setup last night. I have a DishNetwork 1000 dish with DP Plus Twin(110*/119*)and DP Pro Plus(129). I could get 100*. 119* shows connected but no signal. 129* wouldn't come in because 119* came in on 129*.

How can I check the 119* lnbf to see if it is working?

Don, I think you are aligned on the 110 rather than the 119. Doing that you will have the problem you stated. The best way to align is put aluminum foil over the outside LMB's leaving the center one open which is the 119. Then align until 119 shows on the TV. Then remove the foil and you will be in business. You can check each LMB the same way. Each LMB will pick up any of the 3 birds.

If you don't mind spending the money this meter is great for the 100x series of dishes. It can look at up to 4 LNB's at one time. Makes it real easy to align the dish.
