Slight Tilt

Noticed that my 2010 2955 tilts slightly to the curb side. Not much, about 1/2 inch measured from axle to frame. When the slides are out it's level. Is this normal? I would think that the street side would be slightly heaver with the slides. I don't have a washer/dryer and thought that everything in the basement and front storage was pretty well centered. So it doesn't seem as if there is anything extra heavy on the curb side to cause it to set lower.
Thoughts or comments?

Michelle

When in doubt and if it's that noticeable, then get it weighed to ensure the load is balanced.

After that get to level ground, then do an actual measurement. It won't take much to be off with these rigs as big as they are.

All kinds of things can cause this from axle problems and suspension problems, to load balancing. Problems can be hard to spot.

Since your rig is so new you might be able to get your warranty to help. Don't take "Well, I don't see anything wrong" for an answer. Many problems cannot just be seen with the naked eye, but if your load is balanced and the measurements are off, that would be a problem that needs to be looked into for me.

Just my thoughts...

You might want to check your galley loading since it is on the curb side. When your slides go out it changes the center of gravity since they both go out on the street side. I have a 29955 also, but never noticed any lean to it. JMO.
