Must be the water I`ve used these for years and have not found this to be the case. I did stay in a couple of campgrounds over the years where the water smelled like sulfur, the next camp ground 2 states away did not smell with the same Zero-G,

Nope swapped back to trusty old white hose, flushed trailer and all good
