You don't need TP or a bidet. Both are conveniences. Our society has forgotten how to live. We are so far removed from basic subsistence, it's almost shameful.

My headstone won't read,:

"Here lies McRod. For his butt, he spent his entire wad;
With nothing left to bequest, his family shot him and layed him to rest!"

Toilet Paper Issues

I was in a Walmart the other day in Illinois. While I looked for one item I asked my friend to go and see if there was any toilet paper yet. She comes back from seeing totally empty shelves and tells me there is none. I was mad and exclaimed at the idiocy of stockpiling toilet paper of all things, "Bunch of dumb#$$@$!" She dryly remarked, "No. I think they are the smart#$$@$ as they are the ones with all the toilet paper!"

Try to get regular Scott toilet paper. Not the RV Scott. One roll of single ply regular Scott's will last two people nearly a week. We've been buying it for quite a while. Read the label on the package. You will be amazed by how long it lasts. We were Surprised.

Two people a week?? Any of those two people of the female persuasion? If so, you may have to hold classes!!

I'm just glad my kids are all grown. At one point we had 13 daughters at home. It took most of the production of one paper mill just for our house.

just give it time. and all this media driven hype will blow over.
the mass media is so consumed over this bug. if a city was nuked it would only make the fifth page.
in the USA, 8000 people a day die.. and not cause of any one thing. heck over 7 and a quarter million die world wide due to problems spread by mosquitoes.
sure those who get this bug will have lung problems for the rest of there lives ( scar tissue). but 99.99999% of those who get the bug will not die.
turn off the flame torches, and put away the noose, no i do not want anyone to comedown sick, nor i do not want to get it, i have lung problems already. and my mom lives in a place where if one resident gets it, there will be deaths in the buildings.

there have been far worse flu’ s will be again. read up on the spanish flu of 1918., legnares(spelling), swine flu, etc.

It will still get worse as shortages happpening in most states now. Be prepared without taking bunches of items everybody will need. The need for TP is still the same except some people are hogging it. Our stores are allowing now only 1 carton of TP per customer and stock is still empty. If everybody gets less it will return to status quo.
Many campgrounds are closing down in most places at this time. We need to stay home and weather this storm.
