It's back in Rural Arkansas

Just wanted to let you know it's back in rural Ar. My daughter was a Nurse practitioner and had previously had Covid and gotten what they call a Covid heart attack . That time she stayed in heart hospital for a week but bounced back. She had her shots and boosters -Weighed 105 lbs and looked like a picture of health. We were with her on Saturday October 14th helping move stuff back into her home ; they had a devastating house fire in May, watched the eclipse with her and her 10 year old son, all was good. She calls Saturday night and said had a bad headache and thought she was coming down with covid since she had saw several Covid patients all week in the clinic. She tests positive Sunday , gets fluids and meds Monday- Tuesday gets worse and Medflighted to Heart hospital around 6:00 pm and passes Wednesday morning around 5:19 am. Another young mother died from Covid about a week later in her town . She also had a ten year old. Please stay vigilant and careful when out there camping. Life is short and ours will never be the same.

So sorry to hear about this sad story and your great loss. Your daughter sounds like she was a very special person, putting herself at risk the way she did. I hope you and your family are all ok. She will be greatly missed, for sure.

Thanks for everyone's prayers - They're much needed to get thru this - Her husband and son's are really struggling as well as the community and patients that she loved and loved her so- She did one day a week at the local nursing home - She had such a huge heart. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Sorry to hear and condolences. It's all over Ca. I know at least 10 people that have had it in the last month. Unfortunately the covid flu is here to stay.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Will be tough on everyone for a while.

Unfortunately people are tired of covid and are not getting their vaccinations. That puts them and others around them at unnecessary risk. It’s still all around but no longer news worthy.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Nothing worse than losing a child.
