3400 Chairs

On receiving our 2005 3400rl we noticed that the lounge chairs in the back were not the same ( height ). There is approximately 5" difference in height. Its almost like a mom and pop type chairs. Has anyone else run into this? Our dealer seems to be giveing us a run around on ansewers.

I agree with Sue. Call them at (574) 535-2100.
Be sure to have your VIN# for the rig and they should be able to tell you exactly what you were to get.

Both of our chairs are the same height. Sounds like your dealer may have made a swap and doesn't want to admit it.

Ours is also 2005 - identical chairs. I would be suspicious of dealer

Wow! Sounds like your dealer is trying to pull a fast one. They must have swapped with another trailer on the lot to close a deal with someone. Both our chairs are standard size. I would just tell you dealer that "you were born at night, but not last night"; so find me some chairs.

My money is on Parrothead being right.

Diana, why not get your own userid?

Native Tex, I'm going to have to remember that one - at night but not last night!

We went into a lot of 05s when we were looking to order in early Jan. In all units the chairs were the same height. Go back to your dealer and ask for the right chairs.

Agree -

'05 3400RL and kitchen chairs all the same as are the recliners. Good luck. I agree that your dealer probably made the deal with someone.

We have a 04-3400 and the chairs are the same heighth. Also check that they recline properly as well. One of our chairs will not stay in the reclined position. (meaning the upper back part). You can lean back in it with the feet up but it won't stay there.

Is it possible that one of the chairs is just a rocker and not a recliner? Sometimes the recliner is an upgrade in some units, haven't heard of it in a Montana. Maybe the smaller chair is a rocker from another line that Keystone has. I think the dealer should make a change for you.

Steve - this is Colin - Diana put it so nicely to me - if I did not "steal" HER computer while mine was in "Tech Hospital" we would not have a problem! I'd better leave it at that - the MIA very expensive Toshiba is a VERY sore subject (for both of us)!

DiananColin, I can relate! Vicki has her laptop and I have mine. The truck has a laptop used only for the GPS but could substitute for awhile if needed. And there's a fourth laptop that's the one replaced by my new laptop as the old one is dying. But it's not died yet so it's becoming the 'game laptop' although I very rarely have time to play games. Shoot, there's a PlayStation2 in this household I haven't touched since last August. I thought retirees are supposed to have all this free time!

Steve -

I'm reconsidering coming to the National Rally just to see your toys. And to find out what new disasters have befallen you. Hope all is well in the land of sunshine. Kansas is getting hit with another snowstorm and we're going to get the leftovers in the Chicago area.

For whatever reason, I hope you and Terrie do make it to the National Rally. And let's hope there are no more disasters between now and then! From what we hear from the kids and friends, that Kansas snowstorm is on top of a layer of glaze ice. Definitely we are glad to just hear about it!
