North Myrtle Beach SC

Leaving Friday April 6th for Myrtle Beach from Glens Falls, NY. Spending a week on the beach at the Myrtle Beach Travel Park Campground. Although we are supposed to get 5-9 inches of snow the day before I leave, I wonder what the weather in SC will be like. If anyone is in the area look us up as we would be glad to meet other MOC families.

We spent two weeks about 12 miles from North Myrtle Beach the first half of March. Weather was very nice. This link will get you the Myrtle Beach weather forecast for the next 10 days.

We will be in Willowtree resort near N. Myrtle the same weekend. The weather is changing and supposed to be cold the whole weekend. Colder than usual. Low 30's at night, 60's during the day. Big change from the past week. We love Travel Park and usually spend a week there each year. This year will be in Sept. If you get a chance, ride up Hwy 9 to the town of Longs (about 10 miles). Check out Willowtree. It is a great park and just expanded. Not on the beach, but a great place to relax and get away from the hustle of Myrtle Beach.

Be careful and have fun. Keep Kampin'.

BillyRay we are staying at the North Myrtle Beach Travel Park and will be leaving about 5pm tomorrow, so I will honk as we drive by Malta. If the weather is lousy we will be driving around and checking out the area so I will get up to Willowtree and check it out. Thanks Chieflawdawg and everyone for the info.

Chieflawdawg, it was Willow Tree Resort where we recently spent two weeks and we absolutely agree with you. What a first class operation! We enjoyed the terrific spa nearly every night. I have never before seen a place where every site could have handled two of our Montanas back to back and two of our trucks and yet it was a site for a single rig. And at least 50 feet (maybe more) to the neighbors on each side. And trees to boot. We loved it there.

On their website you can take a virtual tour of each site, by site number!

This was our site, site 49.

And a view of other sites, through our screen door.
