level up problem
new gremlin appeared today, when I use manual mode and press LEFT to raise the left side only, the front legs extend, no left. If set AUTO LEVEL it works fine, but I really only want the left to raise, I have wet bolt that wont take grease, need to get some weight off it. Any clues?

Mine occasionally messes up similar to that. Then the next time I use it, it works fine. The fuse for it is the red inline one above the hydraulic system in the corner. Maybe pull the fuse to reset it and try again.
One of our members made this to lift the wheel using the leaf springs. Lippert says NOT to put a jack on the axles. Lift via the frame. I would say this works nicely.
I made one not nearly as nice using g 1.24" steel pipe + 90⁰ elbow and T fittings.
Yesterday I inspected/cleaned my brakes and repacked my wheel bearings and greased the leaf spring wet bolts.
One wet bolt would not take grease. I loosened the nut flush with the threads and tapped it with a hammer. It then took grease. Don't forget to tighten it back down.

Can you raise/lower "rear" only? And if so, does both left and right sides raise/lower?
There are hydac valves for front 2 jacks, left side and right side, and a 4th valve for your slides if you have hydraulic slide outs.
Maybe the hydac valve isn't opening?

LEFT seems to be the problem, when I do REAR only, it raises LEFT & RIGHT for a short time, then RIGHT takes control.

Well if the left jacks move, it's likely not the hydac valve. Any chance there's a hydraulic fluid leak? Maybe getting blow by on the middle left jack? Check both the extend lines and the ram seal.

Jeff,
Try taking all power off you rig including fully disconnecting the battery. It often resets the logic in the level up.

my thoughts too, but no leaks visible, I will try the power disconnect AZ mentioned

Contact Lippert/LCI Customer Service. Tell them the problem and they will talk you through a diagnostic on the system and tell you what to do to take care of the problem. Great Customer Service!

I would look at an internal bypassing cylinder on the rear left/right or mid left/right..
The mid/rear on each side are connected in tandem so what affects mid on one side also affects rear on same side.
However.. the RETURN all connected together in parallel on each of those levelers and that connects to return manifold…
I’d test the mid/rear levelers on each side for internal bypassing issue

Thanks everyone, pulling all power and the inline fuse seemed to work. weight off left side and wet bolt took grease.

Hey Daryles, could you post a photo of the lift you made, I’m wanting to make one. Yours sounds like a winner! Thanks bro✌🏻

Here you go. Not fancy but...
1, 1/4" pipe fittings.
Most of the weight is held up by the hydraulic level up system. I use this to just lift the tire off the ground.

Wow!, thanks so much. Just what a non welder needs. Do you ever have an issue with Jack slippage?

No, but that is a real concern. Maybe go with larger diameter fittings to go over the head of the jack.
