Owners Manuel
I tried the search function but did not get anywhere.
Anyway I just bought my first 5th wheel a month ago, a 2002 Montana 2880RL. Drove 1100 miles to pick it up and then drove 1100 straight home with it. Unfortunetly I was told all the books were in a drawer and did not check.
I don't have the owners manuel for the unit and wonder if anyone would know where to get one?????

It's not you.
The search function leaves a lot to be desired.
Click here to get one from the factory website
It's not for your year but a lot of the principles are the same and is at least a start.
Could also try emailing the factory - not sure where that will go.
Maybe someone else will have a pdf of your year.
Hope this helps.

Owner manual is pretty generic, get the info off of each item, refrig, AC, etc, go to manufactures web site and down load pdf for you equipment and do a three ring binder for your unit, then you will have a quick reference guide.

Good advice, these manuals are just about worthless. I don't know how the manufacturers get away with such a terrible document. We wouldn't stand for it if it was for a car or truck.

Agree with most of the above, except information on proper torques etc is in the manual. Call Keystone customer service, they should be able to help.

Daran did you check in the dining room chairs. The seats lift up from the back and that is where they are in a lot of cases. Check them and then go to the website for manuals. As said previously, most manuals are generic and cover all basics for all models put out that year and years before! I can make and send you some copies of the 2004 manual if you like and I'm sure it is the same as the one that you have or would have had in your unit! Just let me know by PM or email.
Hey got a better idea, come to the Central Plains Regional Rally to be held July 24th-29th here in Nebraska and you can read mine from front to back if you like! THIS HAS BEEN A FORMAL PLUG FOR THE CPRR!

Thanks guys, I have manuals for the appliances and stuff but I need to know things related to the slides, how to adjust them and maintenance. Things like that.
This is my first trailer with slides. Been camping with a old Holiday Rambler class C for the last 6 years. Slides are new to me.
Rondo- my chairs do not fold up, no storage underneath ujnfortunetly

I have a inferior quality pdf of a 2005 Montana if you want me to send it to you. Keystone sent it to me. If you want it just email me and let me know. Not sure how to send it via this post.

The seats don't lift? I have never seen any of the chairs that the seat does not lift. They are hinged on the front and the back of the seat near the back of the chair lifts.

You may have slide(s)that are cable operated ... my 2000 2850RK did. I don't know when the switch to all hydraulic with a balance shaft was ... you'll just have to look at what you have. I'm a mechanic by trade. I'd rather walk on burning coals than have a dealer tech touch my fiver in or out of warranty ... but even I won't tackle any cable slide adjustments. I'd imagine they are just in need of cleaning and lubricating for starters.
Rondo ... I dunno when they went to the storage type chairs ... my 2000 didn't ... my 2005 did.
