Spare Tire moving

Hi All.
As some of you may remember I was concerned with the spare hanging too low on the back of our new 3295. So with the help of my Son in Law we built a new front mounted spare holder.
I am sure if a guy was very careful the tire would not be a problem, however we do go off road on occasion so we built a holder very similar to what was on our last 5er a Alpha Ideal.

Looked at your tractors, fantastic. A few years back we lived in N. Dakota and one of favorite things was going to the antique steam tractor pulls and trashing shows. Man the stuff is all over that state. Just look on the hill tops outside of many of the small towns and you will see farm equipment that dates back 100 years, all in good shape too! Loved that aspect of it, the winters drove us out however.

I like the tractors too, but the motorgraders really blew me away. They look alot like a John Deere 770. Is that what they were patterned after?

Lonnie... I am not sure if they were copied from JD or Cat I bought the plan set from Gentleman in Lynden Wa. He has some terrific Construction models.
I was in Heavy Equip all my life as both owner and operator and dabble a bit in woodworking, but I am just a hobbiest.
Now I am slowing down on the Antique Tractors, I hope to do a little more with the woodworking hobby. The Tractors are just getting too heavy any more as I am approaching the 70's
I think I only have a few left, I usually do one a year but the current one has been in the shop almost two years! Guess I am getting lazy!
