Where to stay in Estes Park

Any suggestions on RV parks in Estes Park? Am looking at Mary's Lake Campground and Spruce Lake RV Park. Their rating are similar so I guess it will just be personal preference but would love some feedback. Thanks

We stayed in Spruce Lake last September and drove out by Mary's Lake. I think either would be fine. The major difference is that Spruce Lake is nearer town and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, but being further up from town might be an advantage, depending upon personal preference.

If coming in from the South, and if staying at Mary's Lake, one should take the Mary's Lake Road rather than going on into town and then back out. This note applies to coming in on the "Peak to Peak" highway from the South.
