BLM camping around Moab Utah
I am thinking about two or three nights at one of the BLM campgrounds around Moab. Never been there before. I am in a 36ft Fifth wheel and I pull a 10 ft cargo trailer behind it. I don't know if any have pull through sites and I know not all can accommodate larger rigs. Anyone have any suggestions as to which ones to try. Thanks for any help.
Richard

Was in moab recently, but we stayed at arch view rv park almost across highway from canyonland entrance road and few miles north of arches and moab. Had a pullthru that was at least one hundred feet long. Didn't notice any blm campgrounds, but saw people camping on blm land accessed by dirt roads when we did an of road tour. John

Richard, usually BLM land is what they call "dispersed" camping. That means it is basically open land without water, electric or dumps. However, in the Moab area they show 26 campgrounds. Here is a link that should help. http://www.blm.gov/ut/st/en/fo/moab/...mpgrounds.html

You might be in luck with what ron posted, but regular campgrounds will have a spot should blm land turn out to be a bust. Arch View was never full the week we were there. Took a jet boat ride many miles up the colorado river with Canyonlands By Night and Day. Very good ride, great boat operator, saw a group of bighorn sheep girls which is pretty rare to glimpse. John
