Glad you had the window put in because we like ours a lot. When they put my dryer vent in they cut an aluminum stud and I imagine that the cut one out for your window install. I’m not concerned but it made some people nervous. Good luck.
We bought our cover at our local dealership. However, Camping World has them as should most others. It is called a "solar entry door cover" and is aluminumized as well as padded a bit (two sided). It measures 24 by 16 inches, which is the size of most door windows as well as the same size as the skylight (unless they changed it).

Also, NO studs were cut during the installation of the new window above the stove. I checked with the service manager, and he said in that particular area, the studs were on either side. So, no impact to structural integrity.

Great, thanks.

I have a different model but it seems on most that have that vent it is for cold air return for the furnace, so don't block it off. In ours we had a draft coming from that and I eventually found that there was a space between the J-wrap and the frame that had no insulation and was letting cold air into the basement area. In our case it was right below the convenience center and allowed the plumbing to freeze up on the first cold winter night we had. I just stuffed foam from a pillow in the space and that fixed it. No more draft at the steps.

Is FRPOF Styrofoam? I wanted to do that but Bonnie thought the regular cover would be better. She put it on yesterday evening and it worked good until this morning when the sun warmed it up and the stickey side of the Velcro got warm and turned loose. Back to the drawing board.

They were going to sell us a "pillow" slightly larger than the skylight dimensions to pressure fit into the skylight. Instead I'll buy a 14" square pillow form and cover it
