Wireless internet access at Quartzsite

Would anyone have a wireless network going at Quartzsite which we could "borrow/buy" time on occasionally while we are there?

Also, is there a reliable wi-fi hotspot in town? ...perhaps that would work for us, although not terribly convenient.

Don't really want to start up a plan/buy equipment, etc., for less than a month of use.

Thanks for any input.

Most of the libraries in the area have WiFi.

Hi we have not yet been to the Q, we will be heading that way on Tuesday. Most libraries do offer WiFi access. Although we have not yet done a whole lot of traveling yet (recently retired). As we have been traveling we have had good luck with WiFi access at McDonald's. When I was a "working person" in my travels I have been known to sit in the parking lot of a Starbucks and catching some WiFi when needed.

We shall see soon what availability there is at the Q. We are anxious to get rolling that way very soon.

Library in Quartzsite is not bad but can get very busy which pulls down the system to a very slow WIFI.
McDonalds in Quartzsite does not have WIFI.
Note: McDonalds DOES Now have WIFI. Disregard above statement.

KTManiac,
Well if we were going to be there you would be welcome to connect to our system. Unfortunately we will not be able to make Q this year. But once you get there I'm sure someone will step forward and be willing to share. In past years we've had a great connection at Q. We've never used the McD's or any other 'public' WiFi systems but understand they work pretty well. Good luck and enjoy, Dennis.
