March 2008 get together, NEW PLACE

As some of you know, Al and I expressed some concerns about having our last get together at Pepes on the River.

We have had some discussions with other friends, and made a visit there, and have to say, that we are disappointed. Food quanity is down, and ewwwwwwww, the tables were dirty and never cleaned when we ate there, and reports from others indicate the same.

I am going to suggest that we move down the river a few blocks and eat instead at Riverside. Riverside is between Pepes and Chimney Rock Campground.

So, that is March the 20th, we can make it 11:30, as was originally planned. They do have entertainment, or did today (A Thursday), later in the afternoon.

Unless someone has another suggestion, see ya at Riverside on the 20th!

We will be there instead of PEPE'S. Was there yesterday also. Took boat ride and then ate lunch. What time was you there?

I was there about 1 to 3???? afternoon, sat inside, no boat ride this time, just us gals having a meal and wearing a bunch of purple and red.

Sorry we are not going to be there today. Gibby needs to do some stuff on the roof before we leave on the first and the wind has not allowed it. When the wind is not too bad we have had something else we had to do. So today is the day. We enjoyed meeting everyone and hope everyone has safe traveling till we meet again. We are not coming to Texas next year, we are definitely going to Florida and don't know after that. Depends on how we like Florida.

It was great and had a good time. There was some new people there and it great to meet and see them and say WELCOME ABOARD. For those that did not make it next year is coming.
