We are leaving today for Strawberry park in Preston, CT.
This place is pricey. It's still cheaper than Point Sebago and seems nicer. We always do one week at a full page ad campground. Thats how she selects some campgrounds. Look for the biggest - bestest ad in the campground book and make a reservation.
For some reason our reservation is for Sunday to Sunday which seems odd. But check-in time is 3PM. Leaving in a few hours so Donna will have time to get out and do her walking every hour and we can take our time. It should only take a couple of hours to get there. But considering the NE rally was only four hours away, and it took seven hours for us, with the stops. It was good to get out and walk around and stretch my legs too. It just made for a long day on the road.

We can bring Max, but, I can't walk him off of our site. Can't carry him to an area within the campground to be walked either.
So Max would be restricted to the site and the camper.
Max is going to my mom's house for the week.
Their reason is, one dog being walked causes other tied up dogs to bark. Once one starts barking they all bark.
Now I've seen dogs bark at their owners just for attention. So I doubt this works in theory.
We'll just have to see how/if the campground dog situation is really quieter without Max.
