Niagra Falls/Cleveland, OH Recommendations

We are in the planning phase of a northern region vacation next year and plan to stop in Niagra Falls. Any campground suggestions from those who have visited before??

Also, we are planning to come back through Cleveland, OH and would like to stop over for a baseball game and tour the rock/roll hall of fame. Have looked in Woodalls but not alot of CGs to choose from. Any suggestions from the road warriors?

Thanks,

We favour the KOA in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is not ideal, but not bad and fairly close to the Falls. Drawbacks are that it is quite close to a main railway track and is typical KOA with fairly closely spaced sites. On the plus side it is well maintained and has good facilities like pools and hot tubs etc.

Sorry, I can't help you with Cleveland, check on Cedar Point Amusment Park, there may be something there.

We would also recommend the KOA in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is a very well kepted campground. It is nice to catch the city bus transportation right in front of the campground so you don't have to fight the traffic in town or spend hours finding a parking space.
As far as Cleveland, Ohio, you will not find a campground close to where Jacobs Field or the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame are. The nicest campground is about 45 minutes from downtown. The Yogi Bear Jellystone campground in Mantua is highly rated. It's on the east side of Cleveland near Geauga Lake Amusement Park. It's pretty easy from the campground to hop on St. Rt. 422 west which becomes I-480 west to I-77 north to downtown Cleveland.
