More Ryde Spring hangers

Message Preview
Hello everyone,
Here is a little story for you to read and toss around,
Just two days ago I was on I-15 south bound at Ogden UT. also at rush hour in the afternoon.
Well I had a Mor-Ryde Rubber spring support let go.
What happens then is that the unit drops down and the adjusting bolts on the slide out decides to eat a strip out of a couple of Marathon tires. Well the tires turn into alligators on side of road.

I was very fortunate to be by a right hand side merge lane where I was able to back Monty off the Freeway
between. As a new comer to the area what to do next???
I tried On Star with very little luck. Along comes a Ogden Auto body and Mechanical service truck and stops to see if he could give me a hand.

Well this turned out to be one of the best things that could happen at the time.
This young fellow called his shop and with in Half a hour I was on the Back of a Fifty foot flat deck trailer truck and on the way to there shop. This was late in the day so they put us in front of there shop and run a power cord out to us to use for the night.
The next morning they got right on to things and called more ride and had the new rubbers shipped over night.
arranged to have new tires installed and I did a few minor body repairs to lower skirting on wheel wells.
I was on the road again that night.

So I take my hat off to OGDEN AUTO BODY and MECHANICAL in Ogden Utah

A good ending to a bad incident. It's good to let others know of a business that treats you right. Glad you are OK.
I didn't see what year your RV was. Did you figure out what made the Mor-Ryde Rubber spring support let go?
