We are there now through the 28th, but we may get evicted early due to Irene activity in the area later this week.

lessoms... FYI, I've recently read that there's a big hurricane coming. Here's the link:

http://news.yahoo.com/hurricane-iren...071828290.html

I don't know how long the link is available, but I just wanted to make sure you know about it. Whether it affects your plans is your choice.

But then again, I also read there was an earthquake in Virginia. What's up with that? Here's that link:

http://news.yahoo.com/quake-rocks-wa...181550612.html

Being in California, I'm certainly not envious but many of our structures are designed to tolerate an earthquake. 5.9 on the Richter scale is a good shaker and probably worse for people that do not understand what they are about.

I think the weather changing from Summer to Winter is gonna be rough this year.

You all out there, BE CAREFUL and aware!!!

Could be that we will have to change our plans. Unless we get hit hard, the week after a hurricane is usually beautiful. Lets hope that it passes by without too much trouble. I shall hope for the best and remain prepared for the worst. You guys can keep your earthquakes, we don't know what to do with them. What a surprise.

Just read that it may pass further east and MB will just get tropical storm winds. We rode one of those out several years ago there at MBTP. The trailer did some powerful rocking but like you said, after it was over, it was beautiful on the beach. Be careful whatever you choose to do. God be with you.

We are heading home tonight, I don't like being on low ground when there is a hurricane out there and the critters don't like all that rocking and rolling. We will come back in October and the months thereafter for a week or two at a time.

We will probably have the place all to ourselves. Looks like MBTP will escape the serious trouble. Come on down, we'll have an after H'cane party.
