West bound on I-90

While east bound on I-90, saw 8 to 10 Montana's west bound between Missoula and Butte then to Little Big Horn (2 days worth of flashes). Flashed my lights at all got not a response but from 2, they waved. My best guess's why;
1. Bunch of Yankee's
2. Driving GM products
a. busy looking at fuel gauge
b. trouble finding the switch on the floor
3. Not MOC'ers
4. Bunch of really old farts too slow to respond.

What are ya'lls best guess?

We were running east on I 90 yesterday between Bozeman and Billings and someone did the double blink at us, saw them to late to blink back, and I barely managed a wave, which I doubt they could see.

We were one of the ones who flashed back. We only saw a few coming up from Dallas, but the numbers multiplied in Montana...fitting.

Yesterday we were west bound from Sioux Falls to Mitchell. Today we were west bound from Mitchell to Rapid City. We are now in Custer SD.

We left the Custer, SD area on the 20th and have been driving west through Wyoming and Montana via SD/WY 60 and west on I-90. Flashed a couple of Montana in Montana yesterday.

We made it to Washington.
