KOA Barrie Ontario

Just returned from an overnight at the KOA Barrie. What a treat! Regrettably KOA's range from awful to wonderful depending on the franchisee. If visiting north of Toronto this site is well laid out, looooong sites with easy access, no low hanging trees and the deluxe sites (do ask for one of these) have a large level concrete pad with upgraded picnic table and firepit. This KOA we will return to.

Agree, been there, it is one of the better KOAs we have been to. It is fairly new, but I noticed that they had planted trees in some places that are going to give trouble as they grow.

The one in Niagara Falls (Ontario) is not too bad either, although it is more crowded, does have trees and posts in awkward places, and is near the railway.
