The 2011 Montana Circle @ Quartzsite

For those of you at home in the cold and snow, here is a picture of the 2011 Montana Circle at Quartzsite. This was taken yesterday afternoon when it was around 75 degrees with clear skies and a gentle breeze. The two remaining slots were filled shortly after the picture was taken.

An ultra-light pilot was kind enough to fly over, take the picture (he also took another 18 or so that will be loaded into Picassa), print a copy, and deliver a CD of the images to us. All of this was without us even being aware he was doing it. This is the second year in a row he has done this for us. We really do appreciate his support and would thank him more publicly but we don't know who he is.

Thanks for the picture folks - we are following the activities from the snowy north here in Idaho - with no small amount of envy I might add. The Mountaineer sits in the driveway with a foot of snow still on the roof!!

Enjoy!

Thank you for posting the Q Circle! Sitting in my hospital bed looking at the Circle makes me feel much better! What a nice tight circle we have this year. And the weather sounds like it is doing its best to make everyone happy!

Carl and Susan thank you for posting the picture.

Wish we were there but this process will have to do for this year. But hope to see everyone next year. Dennis and Mary Kay Hill

Good morning MOC from the Circle in "Q"

Per Carl's request I will be loading all the photos onto my Picasa account. I will downsize them some from the original size, but, will try to still leave them a bit byte heavy, the first is about 388 KB. Hopefully, this size will allow you a right good lookiesee.

The photos will be here:

You can do a slide show or view one by one.

How many rigs have solar? What is in the big tent?
Dave McNair and I were talking and saying we hope to be there next year. Looks like the potential for a good time.

Ozz, that big tent is for a group of MH next to us. Which is another story.

Absolutely awesome picture! I wanna be there.
One of these years I'll be able to quit whining about it and be there.
