Now on the road
We are now on the road heading South. Now in Myrtle Beach. It has been a cold week to say the least. We will be going to Charleston for a few days for some touring then heading further south to Port St Lucie RV Resort.
Hoping the weather will start changing for the better. After which we will be heading down to Key West. Anyone has any good suggestions about reasonably priced campsites on the way please let us know.

Check out James Island County Park in Charleston. Nice place to stay. Real nice doggy park.

We enjoyed the Oak Plantation RV Park while we stayed in Charleston.

Thanks everyone. We had booked Lake Aire RV campground but they had lost water when we arrived. So we are now at James Island County Park in Charleston. You are right Wayne a very nice site. Tomorrow we had out to Port St. Lucie RV Resort. Only plan to travel halfway. Any suggestion of some nice campsites on the way

We liked James Island County Park, too.
If you stop in Savannah, I'd recommend Skidaway Island State Park. We always stayed at Riversend CG on Tybee Island but the city bought the park and their prices went way up. Skidaway is a very nice place. I'm not sure whether they have sewer hookups but do have water and electric.

Ah! Forgot Savannah. We stayed at Hardeeville RV Park about 9 miles (15 minutes) outside Savannah. It was an easy touring location. Not much in the way of frills and amenities, but it is Passport America and a very inexpensive stay. Dirt pull thru where you navigate around the trees. Interesting to say the least - and cheap.
