My DW, who uses the desk area of our 3400, wanted to put pictures up on the wall to the right of the desk (where the TV cabinet is). One night, after I went to bed, she decided to put up cork board tiles. They lasted a while, but were not really suited to the task at hand - pinning up photographs, as the cork wasn't thick enough.
After much thought (whenever I am reluctant to take on a project due to inexperience, I like to think on it), I came up with the idea of using magnetic sheeting. Then, after more thinking, I thought that the strong magnetic field would create havoc with the HD TV. So, after more thinking, I came up with the idea of using Dry-Erase board - it is metallic and so magnets will be attracted to it.
After more thought and surfing, I found this link:

At the store, I picked up a small box of manilla folders. With these, I made a template of the area to be covered in the rubber steel sheeting. I carefully laid the resultant template over the rubber steel sheeting and began to cut.
The rubber steel sheeting has a peel and stick backing, so it was just a matter of carefully peeling and sticking and voila! It was on the wall. To dress up the edges, I went to Michael's (no relation, darn!) and purchased some decorative tape.
Here's the result:
While at Michael's I bought a roll of peel and stick 1/2" wide magnets. My DW cuts the roll into 1/2" pieces and adheres the magnets to the back of the photo du jour.
BTW, it doesn't interfere with the TV or the wireless router.
