Leaving Mt. Pleasant, Mi. with our two grandchildren for a little camping experience to the Soo. Will be staying at the Bay Mills Campground. No, we won't be gambling with them but they did ask if there is an arcade. We said we could check it out. Any of you going to be there this week end, Aug. 3-6?? Going to take in the Locks Boat tour and also Tahquamenon Falls. Is the Antlers an o.k. place in Brimley for a meal with kids (9 and 7)???? Want them to see all the mounts.
Thanks

GoChips, we had dinner at the Antlers about 4 years ago, and enjoyed it. Food was pretty good and the place is interesting. We didn't see anything that was unsuitable for children.

GoChips - The Antlers is suitable for kids and if you sit in front - you can watch the ships go by! Have fun! We're originally from the Soo! Barb

We were there two years ago and stayed at the Aune--Osburn campground. We backed right up to the St. Mary's River. With the "chug" "chug" "chug", we knew a freighter was coming. With a rear living trailer we had a large window to see the freighter, or at least parts of it. They are huge, over 1000 ft. We took the tour through the LOCKS. Really Great. I had been there 40 yrs ago and it was good to see it again. Enjoy and "Have a Good Day".
