Dressing up wagon wheels
I have an '06 Mountaineer RLS and would like to dress up the OE white wagon wheels with some chrome (plastic) hub caps and stainless steel beauty rings.
Does anyone out there know where I can get both items from the same outfit?
Thanks, Jim

Hi Jim,
I know Weld Wheels has tons of accessories and wheels, you might try them.

Thanks for the reply Rich.
The picture you sent is a full hub cap. The one I am interested in is a cap that fits over the bearing hub and lug nuts; not the full wheel.
I also want the stainless beauty ring for the outer part of the wheel.

Thanks to you also Oz. I was unable to get Weld wheels on the web. All I got were their selling stores.

I am in the process of trying autoenhance.com, they have what I want but wont guarantee the fit for wagon wheels.

I see you live in the great state of Mi. We put stainless trim rings on our white wheels. Got them in Roseville on Gratiot and Utica Rd. Wheel and tire store there. Think they were $60. Dresses the wheel up. If you want I can take a picture of them.

I used the trim rings from my 07 GMC dually and purchased the chrome center caps from camping world. Really nice look for not a lot of cash. Not one stop shopping, but pretty easy. You can pick up the trim rings from a sierra dually on Ebay pretty cheap, or just stop by your local tire store.

CW also has the caps and rings as well, I used them on the Cougar we had at one time.

Jim go to www.autoanything.com and see what they have to offer? I use them for goodies and have great service.

I had the same white spoke wheels as we have a trailer and not the 5er.
A tire failure led me down the path of stronger tires and rims.
I ended up with new stronger white rims, high pressure stems, and was able to use the same chrome centers used on the 4 wheel drive trucks, we put them right over the plastic hubs it came with (needed them as the flange was too small without them). Also used the chrome lugs.
It spiffed them up pretty well and I'm much happier with the custom look.

Hi Jim,
Bought mine at an RV Dealer in upstate NY this past summer. I have since seen them at Camping World. I got the hubs only. They look terrific. They snap right on the lug nuts and do a good job of keeping the axle hubs clean. Easy on and easy off if you need to change a tire or grease the bearings.
Happy Camping
