Raleigh NC Campgrounds
Could anyone recommend a campground near Raleigh NC? Our son and family are moving there next month, so we will be looking for a place that is open year round, as we may be going there in November. Appreciate any suggestions you may have. Thanks!

We have stayed at Jordan Lake State Park, which is West of Raleigh. They have several campgrounds. We stayed there in December and had the place to ourselves with EWS. It's off of Rt. 64 about 15 miles west. 919-362-0586

Thanks everyone for the info. I had looked up info on Jordan Lake State Park and other NC state parks in the area, and it stated that their gates closed at 6PM. I hope that didn't mean you couldn't come and go from the campsite in evening. It mentioned something about not being able to enter the park after 6PM.
