Heading for FL.:

We're leaving here, Highland, Sunday morning New Years day for Ft. Myers. Our planned route is I-65 to Montgomery, AL, 231 to Marianna, FL, I-10 to 19 then south from there. Gonna stop in Steinhatchee, FL for a couple days to see a step sister then to Ft. Myers on the 6th. We will be watching for Montys along the way.

Happy New Year, Everyone!!!

Have a safe trip! You'll be just a few miles from our home near Montgomery, but we're not home. We're in Texas waiting to go south to the valley. We take the same route to Florida when we're heading that way. Enjoy your stay.

Well as your looking for Montys along the way..While your coming down 19 into the Largo/Clearwater area you'll be passing within a few hundred feet of us. Now if you knew exactly when to look to your right you could catch a glimpse of our roof
BUT, I should warn you about construction on 19 between Dunedin and Clearwater. If you catch it on any weekday you can expect a substantial back up especially during rush hour. I would suggest taking the Veterans Expressway Route 589 to avoid this mess. 589 will put you on I-275 west of Tampa. 589 is a toll road and I have no idea what the toll would be.
OR, you could cut over to I-75 and run that down to Ft Myers.

Have a safe trip Bob. I stopped by your campsite a few years ago in Biloxi if you remember. That was quite a generator setup you had.

You will probably be coming down I-75 so if you stop near Spring Hill in route you are invited to stop by the house. Just e-mail for directions.

Travel safe.
