What's the trick ???

Hey Folks,

What's the trick to taking off the A/C output registers ? I want to remove all of them and clean out the insulation that is peeking through.

It's not the easiest thing - the three notches around the perimeter - some use a screwdriver in them to pry off. I generally get my fingers under the edges and pull off. Have to find the right place to pull. I also cut out every other blade. to improve air flow.
