That looks awesome. Nice job. I need to add at least a hand rail. Is it just screwed to the wall?

Use shorter screws and rawl plugs from lowes. I gave greater detail in the FB page but be very careful with the screws or they will go through the fiberglass on the outside.

It is a laminate available at Home Depot and used Liquid Nails subfloor glue to hold it down

Very nice mod. You'll love the hand rail, our model is different, but we added one four years ago and use it every time.
