Welcome had to do a double take on your picture.
Young man that had worked with me had the exact rig less the winch.
Enjoy your new Montana!

thanks! from what i am reading, the 2007 montys had decal issues.

i would like to get replacement decals but the price point for them has me hesitating...

i mean, the work is gonna be the same clean up etc, but the actual cash for the decals buys a lot of diesel and propane, and pays for many nights stay lol.

i have also toyed with the idea of just going with the blank white once it is cleaned up. any ideas appreciated!

I understand both sides , I am a little anal about my “stuff “ looking good.
But I really like to play!
I saw lots of the white body Montana‘s everywhere we went this summer.
Lots were set up as permanent. They all look good if you get a shine on them.
Keep us posted on what way you go,

will do, i should probably post the mods/repairs i am doing / done on it too lol.

i had the dreaded black tank cracked at discharge outlet, but that has been repaired and is stronger than new thanks to using fiberglass window screen to laminate the repairs.

Welcome to the Montana forum. You'll find more ideas on upgrades here as you seem to be the person that likes to do their own work.

We have a 2007 2955rl. The decals all flapped on the edges. They were all removed and now it looks 10 years newer. Very incognito.

Wow. You had me going for a minute. We traded in our 2007 3485SA earlier this summer. However, I removed the decals and went white-sided and did not have the slide toppers like your rig. We loved the layout of the 3485. No problems at all mechanically either. You will enjoy it. My wife misses the extra space compared to our new 3120RL.

Ford350man.
Welcome. This forum has given me alot of help. Wife and I bought a 2006 3475 in 2015. The dealer replaced the missing front cap decal and the one on the bedroom slide as part of our deal. We love the floorpan of our Monty as it lets it be pretty much fully functional with slides in when staying for a one niter while traveling or running into bad weather. Much fewer problem since it doesn’t have alot of the newer features new trailers have that seem to give problems. My DW loves her mobile condo.
