Slide seals
Has anyone done anything to their slide outs to make sure the rubber seals roll out, without having to climb up on the roof and pull them out ?

Have slide toppers so never check the top ones. Side seals, use 303 on them. John

303 Aerospace Protectant. Excellent product, comes in a spray bottle. Many uses, works great on my boat upholstery.

I use 303 on all rubber like parts. Spray on tires to protect against UV.

New at this. I have seen using the "slide seal" spray, Talc, and now 303. So is there a real winner or are they all even?

I had heard about using 303 for years. Folks using it on everything from tires, slide seals, plastic/rubber trim, and about anything else to protect from UV. It is hard to find in regular stores in most northern states but fairly common the further south you travel. Between tires and trim on my RV, car, Harley, and other household uses I probably use several spray bottles a year. It is like Armorall Protectant on steroids!

I use the spray that Camping World sells and put it on about twice a year. Its a foam, and I use a cloth to spread it out.

Every thing mentioned will work, I use Protect All. I have a 12' pole that I tie an old sock around the end and soak it with PA. Using a ladder, I can reach the top slide seal all the way across.

Been using 303 for twenty years, will stick with what has worked for us.
