Sometimes where they miter the trim piece that goes around the outside wall of the slide it can leak where the miter comes together. This would be the metal where it meets on the top of the slide. Had it happen to my son in laws tt. Link below shows the area.

We had a leak at the front of our curb side slide a couple years ago. Had a mobile tech come out, no fix. Finally, I discovered the front facing window on the slide was the problem. Actually, the window was OK, but the seal between the window frame and the exterior wall surface of the slide was the problem. I was able to slip a sheet of paper between the seal material and the wall surface. Did not have the time to pull the window and replace the sealant, so I ran a small bead of silicone caulking around the entire perimeter of the frame. Hasn't leaked since. The water had been getting into the interior of the wall, and was migrating under the wall to the carpet.

I've already replaced the seal around a number of windows and mine's a 2010. I'd look for cracks around the windows.
