MOR/RYDE suspension
Looking under our 2014 3850 I see the right side mor/ryde lre 4000 has failed. It appears the metel embeded in the rubber where the spring shackles attach has tore the rubber. Hope I have explained right, but is this a common problem. I have pulled the coach right at 3000 mile. Hope CW can step up to the plate and get it fixed along with some small things fixed before our June trip. Sorry HOOK, but was really thinking about your camping offer this weekend.

Mine showed signs of impending failure after about 500 miles (first time I actually looked at them). One finally gave out after about 3500 miles.

It is under warranty. They will replace it. we have seen that failure several times. We cut the OEM suspension off our 06 w3400 and went to the Mor Ryde Is system. Will do the same with the 2013 Big Sky...

Does that mean you've decided to keep it?

We feel better about it now than we did when we took it to the dealer. It is a rats nest in the underbelly and remember
we had a fire in our 06 3400 due to poor routing of wires. we can not have holding tanks fail when on the road. These issues are being taken care of by the dealer. We see no signs of frame flex and the welds look good. we have not made a decision yet but are proceeding on a best case basses that we will keep it. If we do not we are out of the Rv business so it is a big decision. All we can say is that it is looking positive thus far. We will see what all this will cost us.

As dated in your picture, you will have to keep it at least 11 more years!!

That was taken at the N.E rally. The Big sky was less than two weeks old and that was our first trip. The toilet seat fell of on the way down. I forget who took the picture. It was not our camera.

We picked up our 2014 Big Sky 3402RL in December 2013 at a dealer in Fountain Valley California, after about 200 miles that we put on it I was under the couch and noticed the curb side mor/ryde was coming apart, we took it to Temecula RV in Temecula Ca. and they replaced it under Keystone warranty. When first inspected by the Tech at Temecula RV we were informed it was installed upside down.
Note: Our coach was delivered to Fountain Valley Ca. from Goshen Ind. (miles?)

Replaced one of mine at an rv park in maine. Easy to do when it is warm and you have tools. Shear spring was sent to me by manufacturer gratis after I sent them pictures. John

I was on my creeper recently repairing my leaking galley tank and noticed the MorRyde on the left side looked a bit worse for wear. Snapped a couple of pics to see what everyone here thinks. Are these in need of replacement? Any suggested upgrades other than wet bolts? Thanks for the help!

The first picture, left hand side looks like separation from the center steel plate and if so would be a cause for replacement of the shear spring....unless that is just shadow and not a separation. Other than that, I see nothing in the pics to be alarmed at. John
