Newbee from Alberta

Hi All:
We are newbees to Montana RV having spent 6 years full timing in a 35 FT Carriage Cameo LXi ( 4 slides )We spend summers in Devon Alberta and winters in Apache Junction AZ at Meridian RV.
We are presently negotiating with a Montana dealer in Leduc, AB, for the new 3800RE. New this year. But with the reputation of Montana we are sure we will love the new rig as much as our old one.
Just a question to owners, how much will a dealer move from the MSRP in order to get our business ? Any ideas ? We hope to visit Goshen, Indiana this fall to view the factory.
Hope to spend time on the forum to share our years of experience.

David and Deb

We got about 32% off msrp back in 06. Kind of makes you think msrp is just an arbitrary starting point. Not sure how much that has changed in the last 6 1/2 years. Jim

Good luck on getting the Montana of your choice...at a price you want.

Welcome to the forum! We got about 30% off ours when we bought it. It was a 2010 and we bought it when the 1012's were about to come out so that certainly helped. You have nothing to loose starting with a low ball offer. If they say yes, you're ahead and if they say no you have a low price to begin to negotiate from.

Hi David and welcome to the Club. We live in Alberta and winter in Arizona. P.M. me and I may be able to help you with the Alberta Dealers and your purchase.
