Fort Monroe

Just chillin' at historic Fort Monroe, Hampton, Virginia. Beautiful, but small campground, lots to see and do in the area. Shame this small fort so full of history is being BRACed. Hope they have sense enough to make it a national park or something similiar.
The developers are salivating, primo location.

We are from Newport News and when we travel to the area we try to stay there. We have stayed at that campround many times. I also hope they keep it as a national park. Rumor has it that it may become commercial. It would be a shame.
