dish antenna storage
Has anyone figured out a good way to store the dish antenna when traveling? They have an awkward shape, and difficult to store in the front unit. Is it possible to mount them on the roof ladder? Thanks for the help.

Yes you can mount the antenna on the roof ladder, OR you can stow it upside down over the back of one of your recliner chairs, while traveling as some members do, OR replace the rivets with pins for the LNB arm and fold it up and stow in the basement or elsewhere, OR as I do, leave it on the tri-pod and stow in the back of the TV.

My Dish fits in the front storage compartment with no problem at all. The Dish is down and the lnb pits up. Plenty of room to store light items in the dish.

I did as Don suggests, drilled out one set of rivets on the LNB arm and replaced with a screw/wing nut so it folds pretty flat, then stow in the basement on street side.

My dish and tripod are easily separable ... dish rides on the bed with no worries.

Store ours in the back of the seats inside the truck (extended cab). Works well for us.

Mine is stored in the front compartment. I did take the LNB arm off the dish so my setup will be a little longer. I do not have the knobs to adjust with yet. I have the HD Direct 5 LNB with the oval dish.....

This worked well for me when we had our TT. I pop-riveted a bracket, drilled 2 small holes in the flange and hung it on the rear ladder.
